So we don't have one, or two, but three teaser trailers for Black Phone 2 which have been released, and you can watch them below.
While we no mention of 'The Grabber', but we do get to see the murders and disappearances of three boys at Alpine Lake Youth Camp, and that the new film looks to take place around a remote cabin!
Anna Lore Joins Cast

Some Plot Details Revealed For Black Phone 2
Director Scott Derrickson has recently done an interview with Screen Rant where he has revealed some plot details for Black Phone 2.
OK, it isn't much, but it's something.
"A lot of surprises, for sure. I just finished shooting Black Phone 2, and what I can tell you is that I didn't feel obliged to make a sequel. It wasn't a foregone conclusion that I would make a sequel.But I realized that if I made a big movie after Black Phone, which was The Gorge, by the time I was ready to shoot another film, all those kids would've been in high school. So, it's basically a high school coming-of-age movie in the same way that the first movie was a middle school coming-of-age film."
Black Phone 2 Has Finished Filming
According to the official X account of Geek Vibes Nation X, filming has officially finished on Black Phone 2, and with a release date of October 17th, 2025, this gives the marketing team plenty of time to ramp up the interest and slowly reveal more about the film.
This is a 2025 horror film I am really looking forward to, and it will be interesting to see what story they go with and to get more information on the direction the film will be heading into.
I am sure a lot more will be revealed in the coming months!

With a potential release fate for Black Phone 2 pencilled in for June, 2025, it has now been announced that we will have to wait a bit longer for the release of the film.

Black Phone 2 Starts Filming
Scott Derickson, the director of Black Phone 2, confirmed today on X that filming hasnow begun on the sequel.
A release date is set for June, 2025, and while we still do not know too much about the upcoming film, but Ethan Hawke will be returning as The Grabber, and most of the original cast will also be returning it seems with some new faces as well including Demián Bichir.
Story wise nothing has been announced, but Scott Derrickson did have this to say when Black Phone was released.
Joe Hill pitched me a wonderful idea for a sequel to Black Phone that, if this movie does well, I'm gonna do it. He's got a great idea, I really liked it. Joe's very protective and personal about his material, but he came to me with the idea and I was like, 'That's how you do a sequel to Black Phone. That's terrific.
Black Phone, produced by Blumhouse, is based on Joe Hill's short story and follows 13-year-old Finney Shaw, who is abducted by a serial killer called The Grabber.
Scott Derrickson, Ethan Hawke, and Joe Hill had all expressed interest in continuing the tale, and in 2023, it was officially announced that Black Phone 2 is happening. [Black Phone 2 on IMDB]
