Synopsis
In Blood Covenant, a once-promising horror writer has hit rock bottom. Years of failure, crushing debt, and personal collapse push him to desperation. In a last-ditch effort to reclaim his creative spark, he performs an occult ritual to summon a demon that will grant him the stories he can no longer write.
The pact succeeds - but at a horrifying cost. Each new tale demands a sacrifice: a pound of flesh. As the writer’s fame grows, his body and soul deteriorate, making inspiration inseparable from pain. What begins as ambition quickly spirals into obsession, terror, and self-destruction.
About Blood Covenant
Blood Covenant is a horror anthology from Argentinian filmmaker Mariano Cattaneo, who writes and directs the wraparound story.
The film interweaves shorts from a diverse group of directors, including Kate Trefry, Spencer Keller, Bret Miller, Javier Yañez, and Hasan Can Dağli.
Producers Mariano Cattaneo, Nicolás Onetti, and Michael Kraetzer are also involved in the project.
