Together is an upcoming horror film distributed by Neon, and written and directed by Michael Shanks.

Together Synopsis

Years into their relationship, Tim and Millie find themselves at a crossroads as they move to the country, abandoning all that is familiar in their lives except each other. With tensions already flaring, a nightmarish encounter with a mysterious, unnatural force threatens to corrupt their lives, their love, and their flesh.

About Together

The film had its first showing at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, where it made a big impression and was quickly picked up by Neon for a wide release. Since then, it’s earned strong reviews for its gripping story and atmosphere.

And Michael Shanks had this to say about the film.

There comes a time, I think, in every kind of long-term relationship where we realize, Wow, I’ve been with this person more than I’ve not been with this person. And we live in the same house, we breathe the same air, we eat the same food, we have the same friends. At a certain point we think, I don’t know who I am without her. She maybe doesn’t know who she is without me.
