Synopsis
Obsession is a supernatural horror tale about longing taken too far, where infatuation turns into fixation and a single impulsive act unleashes consequences far beyond what was intended. The film explores how the pursuit of love can spiral into psychological and physical terror when meddling with forces that refuse to be controlled.
After shattering the mysterious “One Wish Willow” in a desperate bid to win over his crush, a lovestruck young man believes he has finally bent fate in his favor. At first, everything unfolds just as he hoped. But as reality begins to warp around him, he discovers that the tree’s promise carries a sinister cost.
What seemed like a romantic shortcut quickly transforms into a nightmare, as his granted desire reveals itself to be something far darker and more consuming than he ever imagined.

Written and directed by Curry Barker, Obsession marks the filmmaker’s leap from viral indie success to a major studio-backed theatrical release, blending supernatural horror with psychological unease, the film examines the destructive side of unchecked desire.
Barker previously gained attention for his ultra-low-budget found footage feature Milk & Serial, which became an online sensation and established him as an emerging voice in modern horror.
