Synopsis
The Whistler is a supernatural horror film inspired by the Venezuelan legend of El Silbón, blending grief-driven storytelling with eerie folklore and demonic terror.
The story follows a grieving couple, Nicole and Sebastian, struggling to cope with the loss of their daughter, and when they inherit a secluded farm in rural Venezuela, they see it as a chance to start over.
But the fresh start quickly turns into something far more sinister.
They encounter a mysterious group claiming they can summon spirits, offering Nicole the chance to reconnect with her dead child - desperate and vulnerable, she participates - unknowingly unleashing a malevolent entity tied to the legend of the Whistler.
As the haunting intensifies, the couple is drawn into a terrifying spiral of grief, obsession, and supernatural horror, where the entity stalks its victims through an eerie, distant whistle - one that signals death is closer than it seems.
