Neon hopes to carry on their success after Longlegs and Cuckoo, with another horror movie titled Presence, which will be releasing in January. 2025, and you can watch the official first teaser below.
Although the teaser is short, it does highlights the film's unique twist: it's a haunted house story told from the perspective of the ghost.
Directed by Steven Soderbergh and written by David Koepp, Presence will star Lucy Liu as Rebekah, a mother who moves her hesitant family into a hundred-year-old house in a quiet suburban neighborhood.
Rebekah is a mother of two who often needs reminders from her husband Chris (played by Chris Sullivan) that she has another child as he’s completely focused on her demanding and competitive swimmer son, Tyler (Eddy Maday).
Because of this, she hardly notices when her daughter Chloe (Calliana Liana), who is grieving a friend’s death, begins to say something is wrong with their new house.
I will watch pretty much anything Neon release, so I will be keeping an eye on this one and The Monkey and will bring more news as it arrives, but give the first teaser trailer a watch below.
The film will be released in theaters in America in 17th January 2025. [Presence on IMDB]
