More details about the cast of Scream 7 have been revealed to join Neve Campbell and other actors returning or becoming part of the cast for the new movie.

Isabel May In Talks To Play Sydney's Daughter

Just a little update with regards to Scream 7, and that is  actress Isabel May is set to join the cast playing Sydney's daughter.

The actress first gained attention playing Katie Cooper in Netflix's Alexa & Katie, but she became even more well-known as Elsa Dutton in the Paramount+ series 1883, later narrating its sequel 1923

This hasn't been officially confirmed yet but looks very likely.

Scream VII Set for 2026 Release

So we have an update to when Scream VII will be released, and while most people, including myself thought it would be 2025, it has actually been set for February 27th, 2026.

The news was announced on social media by Scream queen Neve Cambpell and producer for the movie Kevin Williamson.

We have also had rumours of Courtney Cox wanting a return for Dewey to the franchise, who was killed off previously.

We still haven't had official word that Courtney Cox, who played Gale Weathers will be returning, but I would expect she will be.

Scream VII has a confirmed release date of February 27th, 2026

Scream VII Gets Filming Update

Neve Campbell has announced that Scream VII will start its filming in December 2024 after being pushed back from the originally announced September date but should still be ready for a 2025 release. The Scream queen, who plays Sidney Prescott in the Scream franchise, missed the 2023 release of Scream VI due to a contract dispute, but will be returning for the newest entry, and she had this to say.
I'm very, very happy it's happening. We were supposed to start in September, but we're going to start in December now because of some scheduling stuff with Kevin and myself and having all that aligned. And actually, I think it's a good thing, because we're going to be able to have the time to get it really right. So I'm very excited about it.
She also revealed she is actually not a fan of horror movies.
I'm afraid I'm not. I should! I struggle to watch horror movies, I really do. I've always felt like it's just not my thing. I don't like the experience of sitting and watching and getting scared. Some people really love it, but I also know they can be fantastic.

We already know along with Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox will also be returning to Scream VII,  playing Gail Weathers, and the same goes for Patrick Dempsey who plays Mark Kincaid.

Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega however will not be returning to the franchise.
