Synopsis
Forbidden Fruits follows Apple, a charismatic mall store employee who secretly leads a witch cult alongside coworkers Cherry and Fig. When new hire Pumpkin joins the tea, she begins to question the bond and rituals of their sisterhood.
As tensions rise, the women must confront their own inner darkness - or face violent consequences. The film blends supernatural horror, psychological tension, and dark drama, exploring loyalty, obsession, and the dangerous allure of power.
About Forbidden Fruits
Directed by Meredith Alloway in her feature film debut, Forbidden Fruits is an indie horror-drama based on Lily Houghton’s play Of the Women Came the Beginning of Sin, and Through Her We All Die. Co-written by Meredith Alloway and Lily Houghton, the film combines suspense, psychological intrigue, and supernatural elements in a story about sisterhood, secrets, and self-destruction.
Produced by MXN Entertainment and Madhouse Films, the film was shot in Canada and will be distributed in the U.S. and Canada by Independent Film Company and Shudder.
