Synopsis
They Wait in Shadows is a psychological supernatural horror film where trauma doesn’t just haunt - it takes physical form, and follows estranged sisters Ingrid and Jenny, who return to their childhood home after the death of their mother.
Hoping to settle unfinished business and reconnect, they instead find themselves trapped in a place filled with painful memories, but something else is waiting for them.
The monsters they once feared as children - dismissed as imagination - begin to reappear, more real and more terrifying than ever. As the manifestations grow stronger, Ingrid realizes that her unresolved guilt may be fueling their existence.
Worse still, the entities begin to communicate, offering her a disturbing and familiar bargain.
As reality fractures and the house becomes a nightmare, the sisters must confront the truth behind their past - or risk being consumed by the very horrors they tried to forget.
