Plot
It Ends follows a group of four recent college graduates who set out on what should be a routine food run in their Jeep Cherokee, but as they travel deeper into the night, they find themselves trapped on an impossibly infinite highway with no exits, no destinations, and no clear sense of time passing, where srange, otherworldly entities begin appearing along the roadside, attacking the group in unpredictable bursts.
The further they drive, the more reality deteriorates - stretching into a looping, disorienting existence where rest stops blur together and every mile feels identical to the last.

About It Ends
It Ends is the directorial debut of filmmaker Alex Ullom, produced by Aymara Films, Please Hold Pictures, and Snoot Entertainment, with US distribution handled by NEON.
Originally developed as a Gen Z–focused horror story about transitional adulthood, the film uses supernatural horror as a metaphor for emotional stagnation and modern existential anxiety. Rather than relying on traditional scares, it builds tension through repetition, isolation, and the psychological strain of an endless journey.
The film first gained attention through festival screenings, where it was praised for its unique concept and its blend of road movie structure with supernatural horror elements, and it later expanded into broader release plans following strong critical reception.
The project is also part of a broader wave of indie horror films experimenting with minimalist settings and high-concept psychological frameworks, positioning itself as both a genre piece and a metaphorical study of early adulthood pressure.
Director and Cast
It Ends is directed by Alex Ullom and the cast includes Akira Jackson, Phinehas Yoon, Mitchell Cole and Noah Toth.
