Showmax has unveiled the trailer for its latest Nigerian original film, "Dead of Night," which is now available for streaming. Directed by Chiemeka Osuagwu, known for his work on acclaimed films such as "Far From Home" (2022), "Blood Covenant" (2022), and "A Weekend to Forget" (2023), "Dead of Night" takes place in the serene Ekeoba village.
The plot follows the robbery plan of three teenage girls, Chinaza, Onyi, and Ihuoma, portrayed by Nollywood's rising stars Favour Etim, Diana Egwatu, and Nene Aliemeke, respectively. However, their plan takes a terrifying turn when they become trapped in an abandoned mansion with dark secrets, haunted by mysterious forces.
To escape the clutches of Onwu, an evil entity determined to claim their souls, they must navigate a labyrinth of horror. "Dead of Night" promises a gripping narrative that explores the depths of fear and superstitions.
