The former WWE and current AEW star is set to star in a new horror movie called Dark Match, which will be distributed globally by Blue Finch Films.
Dark Match is a film set in the 1980s, where a small wrestling company agrees to put on a show in a remote town. But, they soon discover that the town is controlled by a cult leader with sinister intentions for the match.
This forces Miss Behave and her friends to fight for their survival. The movie is written and directed by Lowell Dean and is scheduled for release later this year. It will also premiere soon at an upcoming film festival. Other actors confirmed for the movie include Sara Canning, Michael Eklund, and Steven Ogg.
Chris Jericho is also set to reprise his role in Terrifier 3, releasing in October.
In a recent interview, Lowell Dean spoke about the process of writing the movie.
“When I wrote ‘Dark Match’ I questioned if it was too crazy to get made, but within months I was on set in Edmonton, with a hard working cast and crew all pouring their (fake) blood and sweat in the wrestling ring to bring it to life,” he said. “I can’t wait to share this film with the world.”
