Synopsis
It Visits Me centers on a young woman forced to return to her childhood home, where she becomes trapped in an increasingly unsettling situation. Her sister claims she is being visited by an angel - but as strange events escalate, the line between divine presence and psychological horror begins to blur.
What starts as familial tension slowly spirals into a disturbing exploration of faith, fear, and belief. As doubt and devotion collide, the young woman must confront whether the presence haunting their home is heavenly… or something far more terrifying.

It Visits Me is the feature film debut of filmmaker Cameron Gallagher, expanding on his viral YouTube short of the same name. Gallagher co-wrote the screenplay with Jeremiah Lewis, with the pair independently producing the project.
The original 10-minute short was uploaded to YouTube two years ago and has since amassed nearly 100,000 views, building an online following that helped propel the story into feature-length development.
The film is being described as a slow-burn psychological horror rooted in religious dread. Drawing comparisons to Saint Maud, The Lodge, and Possession, the project leans heavily into themes of spiritual disruption, psychological unraveling, and the terror of belief.
Gallagher has cited religious horror as a primary inspiration, emphasizing his interest in creating character-driven fear that feels both intimate and deeply unsettling.
