Faith can be beautiful. And brutal.
Synopsis
Blood Shine follows Brighton West, a troubled horror filmmaker who escapes to upstate New York to finish writing his latest screenplay. Hoping isolation will spark creativity, he instead encounters Clara, a devout religious zealot who worships the light through solitary and increasingly disturbing rituals.
As Brighton becomes entangled in Clara’s extreme spiritual practices, he’s drawn into a hallucinatory spiral of faith, flesh, and transcendence. Convinced her sadistic ceremonies can elevate him to godhood, Clara pushes Brighton toward a transformation that blurs the line between enlightenment and annihilation.
