Synopsis
A weekend getaway intended to help the grieving Orla cope with the loss of her family quickly descends into terror when an ancient evil is awakened.
After Orla's blood resurrects the Dearg-Due, a legendary Irish vampire, the creature begins infecting her friends, spreading madness and violence as its influence grows stronger, and as those around her fall under its control, Orla is confronted with an impossible decision.
The vampire offers her a heartbreaking bargain: become its next host and be reunited with her dead family, or destroy the creature forever and lose any chance of seeing them again.
Faced with grief, temptation, and unimaginable horror, Orla must decide whether to embrace the darkness or end the nightmare before it consumes everyone she loves.

About the Film
Feed is an Irish supernatural vampire horror film written and directed by Marco van Belle.
Produced by Ripple World and Umedia, the film reimagines vampire mythology through Irish folklore, drawing inspiration from both Dracula and the legend of the Dearg-Due, a mythical Irish vampire associated with death, seduction, and eternal hunger.
Alongside its supernatural horror, Feed explores themes of grief, loss, and the seductive nature of influence in the digital age, where director Marco van Belle has described the film as an examination of modern influencer culture, placing its characters against an ancient creature whose power lies in manipulation and control rather than online fame.
With people using social media to make their mark and get rich quick, I’m fascinated to explore the fragility of modern influencer culture by putting our characters against a ruthless creature that has the true power of influence.
