With have another new trailer that has been released by A24 for Heretic, which you can watch below.

The trailer doesn't reveal too much, but I cannot wait to watch Heretic when it releases on November 8th.

Early Reviews for Heretic Are In

While we still have a couple of months before the official release of Heretic, it has been seen by some at the Toronto Film Festival already and early reviews seem positive and full of praise of Hugh Grant's performance.

Now, as we all know, we should take early reactions with a pinch of salt as who knows if they are genuine, remember LongLegs scariest movie ever nonsense?

But these reactions are one I can believe with regards to Hugh Grant, I can imagine him playing this character incredibly well, so we shall see!

Oh, and he sings a Radiohead's Creep in the film as well!

Joey Magidson from Awards Radar had this to say:
Hugh Grant gives one of his best and most committed performances in Heretic. The film builds slowly and intensely, and while I’m not sure the finale lands as firmly as intended, I was engaged throughout.
EmpireCity Box Office was also full of praise:
My word, I loved every minute of #Heretic even when it went full Looney Toons and turned into an episode of Sherlock.  
I cannot wait to watch this one!

Hugh Grant To Star In A24 Horror Movie 'Heretic'


Hugh Grant is going to be starring in the upcoming A24 horror movie Heretic and you can watch the trailer below.


In the trailer, Grant, who plays a character named Mr Reed, is seen capturing two young women, played by Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East, before telling them: “I won’t keep you if you wish to leave, but I want you to choose which door to go through based on your faith.”

Heretic will be about two young missionaries who become ensnared in a deadly game of cat and mouse when they knock on the door of the diabolical Mr. Reed. 

Trapped in his home, they must turn to their faith if they want to make it out alive.

Heretic is set to release on November 8th 2024, but I will update the page as new information comes to light! [Heretic on IMDB]
