Preview: 213 Bones Brings a 90s-Style Slasher Mystery Back to Campus Horror

213 Bones villain

The killer is closer than they think.

Synopsis

213 Bones is a throwback whodunnit slasher set in the early 1990s, blending campus horror with a classic masked killer mystery, where a group of anthropology students begin uncovering human bones and personal belongings scattered across their college campus - a discovery that quickly shifts from academic curiosity to outright terror.

As the remains pile up, it becomes clear that someone is targeting them one by one, as a masked killer stalks the campus, turning late-night study sessions into deadly encounters, and with paranoia spreading and trust eroding among the group, the students are forced into a desperate race to uncover the identity of the killer before they all become victims.

About 213 Bones

The project marks the feature directorial debut of Jeffrey Primm and is positioned as a nostalgic return to practical horror, suspense, and character-driven storytelling, and adding to its retro feel, the film features a soundtrack inspired by the 1990s alternative scene, reinforcing its throwback aesthetic.
