Synopsis
A Mother’s Recall is a haunting psychological horror film that blends intimate family drama with slow-burning supernatural terror, exploring how grief, trauma, and buried memory can manifest as something far more sinister inside the home.
The story follows Genaro, a teenage orphan who is taken in by a new family, finally given a chance at stability and belonging, and at first, the home feels like a safe refuge - a place to start over.
But as Genaro settles in, strange disturbances begin to unfold within the house, with subtle shifts in atmosphere, unexplained sounds, and a growing sense of unease suggesting something is deeply wrong beneath the surface.

It is produced and presented by Black Mandala, a company known for supporting international genre cinema.
