About A Possession in Lincoln County
A Possession in Lincoln County marks the first in-house original production from FOUND TV, a streaming service dedicated to found footage horror.
Directed by Louie La Vella and written by Monica La Vella, the film was produced on a microbudget of approximately $10,000, with the project representing a major step for the platform as it expands from curator to creator, highlighting a commitment to independent filmmaking and accessible storytelling.
Louie La Vella explained the philosophy behind the film:
We’ve always believed that filmmaking should be accessible to anyone, not just those with big budgets or studio backing. Found footage proves that you can tell a great story with very little, as long as you understand the craft.
This film was about proving what’s possible within the genre. We wanted to make something that felt true to indie found footage at its core - something made with limited resources, but a clear vision.
Monica La Vella emphasized the personal and creative mission behind the project:
This film represents everything we stand for as storytellers and as a platform. You don’t need massive resources to create something meaningful, especially in a genre like found footage where authenticity matters.
The production also carries a unique personal milestone, with the filmmakers’ teenage son handling the full edit as his feature debut - reinforcing the project’s ethos of creative accessibility and collaboration.
