Synopsis
Crawlers follows Serena, the overworked and overlooked manager of the Paradiso Palms apartment complex, who stumbles upon a mysterious death that initially appears to be the result of a viral outbreak. But the truth proves far more horrifying.
A deadly infestation of venomous spiders begins spreading throughout the building at an alarming rate, and as authorities impose a strict quarantine, sealing everyone inside, the residents are forced into a desperate fight for survival.
With no escape and the threat multiplying by the second, paranoia and panic take hold as the building becomes a claustrophobic battleground.

Crawlers is a creature-feature horror film directed by Ángel Gómez Hernández and written by Jayson Rothwell (Silent Night, Polar).
Previously titled Arachnid, the film aims to deliver a fast-paced, contained survival story centered on primal fear and relentless escalation, and the project marks the first release from Badlands, a newly launched genre label formed by Thunder Road Pictures and industry veterans, aiming to deliver bold, theatrical horror experiences.
The film was shot over five weeks in Portugal in 2024, utilizing confined interior spaces to heighten tension and create an immersive, claustrophobic environment where danger lurks in every corner.
