The Story Behind the Final Harvest
The Barn Part III is a supernatural horror sequel and the intended final chapter in Justin M. Seaman's The Barn trilogy, which began with the 2016 original before continuing with The Barn Part II in 2022, and the story takes place years after the events of the second film, with the survivors still living under the fear that the three evil creatures will return to finish their supernatural harvest.
Josh Harper (Courtney Gains) has devoted his life to keeping Helen's Valley safe from the monsters that once emerged from the cursed barn, where his determination is also driven by his desire to protect his sister Heather (Kelli Maroney), but something much darker is moving in the shadows and attempting to resurrect the terrifying legend.
The return of the creatures threatens to turn the Halloween mythology surrounding the town into an even larger nightmare, forcing old survivors and a new generation of victims into a fight against the evil that was supposed to have been buried for good.

About The Barn Part III
The Barn Part III has been designed as a genuine conclusion rather than simply another sequel, with director Justin M. Seaman saying that the film will tie up loose ends from the previous movies while raising the stakes considerably, while it also brings back the franchise's central creatures, including The Boogeyman, Hallowed Jack and the Candycorn Scarecrow, with the production continuing the practical-effects approach that has been a major part of the series since the beginning.
The film is also considerably bigger in terms of its ensemble too, alongside returning franchise elements, Seaman has assembled a cast packed with recognisable horror veterans, including performers associated with Sleepaway Camp, Fright Night, Friday the 13th, Chopping Mall and Tales from the Crypt.
Despite being made as an independent production, the film has generated enough interest to secure festival screenings internationally, including a UK premiere at Tubi FrightFest London. FrightFest lists the film at 95 minutes.
The movie's production credits include Nevermore Production Films, Scream Team Releasing and Simon Lustenberger Pictures, with Zane Hershberger and Justin M. Seaman credited as writers - Hershberger also serves as director of photography, while Seaman handles editing and production design, while Cody Ruch is credited as special-effects coordinator and creature designer, with Samantha Sanford assisting on creature design, while Samantha Musolino serves as key makeup artist.
Justin M. Seaman Closes His Halloween Trilogy
Justin M. Seaman returns as writer and director after making the first two Barn movies, and for the finale, Seaman has indicated that the tone will be somewhat more serious than the previous entries, although fans shouldn't mistake that for a reduction in gore - the filmmaker has promised monsters, splatter and considerably higher stakes while finally bringing the story to its conclusion.
The cast of the film includes Courtney Gains returning as Josh Harper, while Kelli Maroney plays Heather Harper - they are joined by Felissa Rose, William Ragsdale, John Kassir, Ari Lehman, Kansas Bowling, Jessa Jupiter Flux, Ellie Church, Mitchell Musolino, Tristan Olsen and Angel Nichole Bradford, among others.

When and Where to Watch The Barn Part III
The Barn Part III does not currently have a confirmed general US theatrical or streaming release date, but the film has already been playing the festival circuit, but for now, the wider release remains TBC for 2026/2027.
