The 3 Killer Pigs Turns the Three Little Pigs Into a Bloody Horror

The 3 Killer Pigs movie poster

The upcoming indie horror movie The 3 Killer Pigs is taking the familiar children's fable and giving it a seriously nasty makeover, turning the three little pigs into murderous creatures unleashed after a farmer makes a blood pact in an attempt to get his livestock back.

The movie is written and directed by Thomas J. Churchill, and it's heading into a limited U.S. theatrical release on September 25, 2026, before arriving on VOD through Quiver Distribution on October 23.

Forget the Brick House

The basic story isn't exactly subtle, but that's probably part of the fun - a desperate farmer resorts to increasingly extreme measures to reclaim his livestock, eventually making a blood pact that brings the three killer pigs back to the place where their nightmare began, and once the piggies return, the farmhouse and everyone inside it are basically screwed.

And judging from the trailer, The 3 Killer Pigs isn't particularly interested in making the concept respectable either - it's going for blood, practical creature effects and very exaggerated horror.

The 3 Killer Pigs has been described as a retro-styled creature feature with an obvious love for the horror movies of the 1980s, while Churchill has specifically cited Italian horror filmmaker Dario Argento as an influence.

The score comes from Marco Werba, who has actually previously collaborated with Argento, while the creature effects were handled by Emmy Award winner Marcel Banks and Anaglyph Studios, while the makeup effects were overseen by Kaitlin Lyerly.

Brian Austin Green and Anson Williams Lead the Cast

The cast is a mixture of familiar faces and horror regulars.

Brian Austin Green plays Sheriff Karloff, while Anson Williams plays Farmer Mac and Robert Carradine appears as Deputy King - the cast also includes William McNamara, Robert LaSardo, Rachel Pizzolato, Sharna Burgess, Dare Taylor, Cody Renee Cameron, Jody Quigley, James Pratt, Sadie Katz, Meghan Carrasquillo, Richard Gabai and plenty more.

Pizzolato and Burgess are also making their feature-film debuts with the movie.

The 3 Killer Pigs may also be intended as the beginning of a franchise - Churchill and producer Aleksandra Zorich Hunt have said they're hoping audiences embrace the movie enough to continue the story, with Churchill specifically talking about plans to build a franchise around the killer pigs.
