A Mickey vs Winnie Movie Is In The Works

A Mickey Mouse and Winnie The Pooh horror movie is in production.

Untouchables Entertainment is going to be releasing a horror movie that I am sure we all want, titled Mickey vs. Winnie. Glenn Douglas Packard, who transitioned from being an Emmy-nominated choreographer to a filmmaker, is set to direct the movie based on his own screenplay.

The story revolves around well-known characters from A. A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh books and Mickey Mouse from the classic 1920s cartoon Steamboat Willie, both of which are now in the public domain.
Set in the 1920s, the film will follows two escaped prisoners who find themselves trapped in a cursed forest, eventually being consumed by its dark and sinister depths. A hundred years later, a group of adventurous friends stumble upon the same woods during their Airbnb getaway.

However, their vacation takes a terrifying turn when the escaped convicts transform into twisted versions of the beloved childhood icons Mickey Mouse and Winnie-The-Pooh, emerging to terrorize them.
Packard had this to say:
Horror fans call for the thrill of witnessing icons like the new Aliens and Avengers sharing the screen. While licensing nightmares make such crossovers rare, Mickey vs. Winnie serves as our tribute to that thrilling fantasy.

Hmmmmm?

You can read my review of the first Winnie The Pooh : Blood and Honey horror film, and as bad as that was, the 2nd one is apparently not anywhere near as laughable, although I haven't caught up with that one yet. And a 3rd Blood and Honey movie is going to be releasing as well.

And remember, Screamboat is releasing in 2025 as well, another Mickey Mouse themed horror movie.
