Russell Crowe's 'The Exorcism' Gets Trailer

A trailer has been released for 'The 'Exorcism'

Vertical has unveiled the trailer for upcoming horror film The Exorcism, starring Academy Award winner Russell Crowe. The film is set to release on June 7th and follows the story of Anthony Miller, a troubled actor who begins to unravel while filming a supernatural horror movie

As his estranged daughter, Lee (played by Ryan Simpkins), watches him closely, she wonders if he's relapsing into his past addictions or if something more sinister is at play.

Alongside Crowe, the cast includes Sam Worthington, Chloe Bailey, Adam Goldberg, and David Hyde Pierce

Here's what director Joshua Miller had to say:

With The Exorcism, we wanted to update the possession movie formula (“Heroic man rescues woman from forces she’s too weak and simple to battle herself!”) for a world where no one group owns goodness and decency over another.

We were gifted with an extraordinary cast and creative team to tell a story about how we’re all vulnerable to darkness, to perpetuating it, if we fail to face our demons. The devil may retaliate, but what other choice do we have?
